In this new feature, “All About Clubs and Societies,” Bilkent News is highlighting a different student club or society each issue, starting with those that were established at the beginning of the 2021–22 academic year.
Atelier Bilkent is a student club that aims to bring together all art-loving Bilkenters in a collaborative environment. The club endeavors to offer its members a short “art break” from the hustle and bustle of university life and give them a chance to create together.
The activities of the club include workshops and seminars conducted by experts in different branches of the fine arts. They also include the “Atelier Between Us” workshop series. These workshops are held every week and moderated by members of Atelier Bilkent. At the workshops, attendees participate in tutorials, create independent works in response to challenges or suggested topics, or learn techniques that do not require much experience and can be done at home with easily accessible materials.
Atelier members invite all Bilkenters to come create, draw and chill together. They look forward to meeting and welcoming new members.
