On December 9, renowned animation artist, author and director Mait Laas gave a workshop on stop-motion animation at the Department of Communication and Design.
Mr. Laas spoke about the work of the Estonian puppet-film studio Nukufilm, which he is affiliated with. He also showed excerpts and behind-the-scenes footage from his latest S3D puppet animation, “Lisa Limone and Maroc Orange.”
A member of the European Film Academy, Mr. Laas has created films that include “Teekond Nirvaanasse” (2000), “Generatio” (2005) and “Aja Meistrid” (2008).
