The Bilkent University National Nanotechnology Research Center/Institute of Materials Science and Nanotechnology (UNAM) has, in partnership with Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), received 8 million TL from TÜBİTAK for an industrial PhD program. The funding will support 20 PhD students.
Students selected for the program will receive a monthly stipend of 4,500 TL and benefit from other incentives offered by UNAM and TUSAŞ, including the opportunity to be employed at TUSAŞ for at least three years following graduation.
Current Bilkent University PhD students in science and engineering departments (MSN, EE, ME, PHYS, CHEM and related PhD programs) who are not yet in the dissertation phase are welcome to apply for the fellowships, as are new applicants eligible to enter a PhD program. The application period is now open; additional applications of incoming students will be accepted through the 2020 spring semester.
