Career Center Events

This week, the Career Center is hosting three sessions that will look at today’s and tomorrow’s career opportunities from different perspectives. All of the sessions will take place at 12:30 p.m. in C Block Auditorium.

On Tuesday, April 9 (today), a presentation by Senior Data Scientist Fırat Gönen and Senior Recruitment Specialist Pınar Aşkınoğlu from Doğuş Technology will consider the impact of artificial intelligence solutions and machine learning on the technology sector, and also provide detailed, action-oriented information and tips regarding the job search and interview process.

Next, on Wednesday, April 10, Bilkent alumnus Akan Abdula (MAN ’01), founder and managing partner of the FutureBright group of companies, will give a talk on “Youth and New Business Cultures in the Algorithm Era.” Mr. Abdula will not only highlight the real-world impacts of the post-truth era on youth behavior and business cultures but also give insight into how young people can deal with this new reality.

And on Thursday, April 11, ACTECON Law and Consultancy is offering a seminar on career opportunities and interview tips that will be of great interest to law students.

IDF School Spring Conference

The IDF Bilkent Primary, Middle and High School will hold its 13th Spring Conference on Saturday, April 27.

Guest speakers will be Umut Sav, director of İzgören Academy, and Ali Koç, founder of Fide Schools and Eğitimpedia. During the morning session of the day-long event, IDF School teachers will share their teaching practices with their colleagues.
