Philosopher Dancy on Campus
Professor Jonathan Dancy (University of Reading and University of Texas at Austin) will visit Bilkent on September 26-29. On September 27, he will give a lecture entitled "Non-naturalism and Normativity." The lecture will be held in the Engineering Building, Room EA-409, and will start at 1:40 p.m. Dancy (M.A., B.Phil., Oxford) is an internationally known specialist in ethics, epistemology, and early modern philosophy. He is the author of five books and editor or co-editor of several others.


The First Party of the New Semester!
Radio Bilkent will once again hold Ankara’s biggest open-air party, on Saturday, September 17. We'll meet for performances of Radio Bilkent DJs and cinevision and light shows at 8 p.m. on the East Campus. The event will then continue at the Mayday Club, beginning at 11:30 p.m. Get the fall semester off to an enjoyable start at the Radio Bilkent Party!


Turkish Language Courses Offered
The Turkish Teaching Unit will be offering Turkish language courses during the fall semester at five levels for international faculty and their family members. If you are interested, please pick up an application form from the Turkish Teaching Unit in Room H-347, Faculty of Humanities and Letters (FHL) Building on the Main Campus. Registration will take place in Room H-347, on September 12-14. Classes will start on Monday, September 19, and end on Tuesday, December 20. MEC: Off to a Good Start for 2005-2006
Bilkent's Management and Economy Community (MEC) is looking forward to another event-filled year, with a full schedule already planned for September.
