Bilkent University's First MUN Conference to Be Held

The first Model United Nations (MUN) conference to be hosted by the Bilkent MUN Society, MUNBU 2013, will take place January 29-February 1 on the Bilkent University campus. During the conference, participants will role-play as delegates debating issues within UN committees and other decision-making bodies. MUNBU 2013 is open to all interested students at Bilkent and other universities as well.
The committees, offices and organizations to be represented at the conference include the Security Council, the G-20, the Economic and Social Council, the First Committee on Disarmament and International Security, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the International Court of Justice.
The daytime debate sessions will be followed by evening social events. Transportation to and from the events will be available at set times.
The deadline for regular registration is November 15, with late registration possible until November 26. The regular registration fee, covering conference materials, dormitory accommodation, all coffee breaks, breakfasts, lunches and dinners, and the BBQ welcome party and the farewell dinner, is 150 TL/75 € per delegate.
