Japanese Official to Discuss Impact of Westernization
Westernization is meaningful for almost every member of the young Turkish Republic. As a model country for westernization, Japan is a good example. In everyday conversations you may frequently hear some people mention that the Japanese are hard working, they are westernized, and they also never forget their traditions. If you want to learn more about Japan and its experience with westernization from an authority, you are kindly invited to a presentation by Mithusiro Toyama, the Cultural Attache of Japan. He will speak on "Westernization and its Effects on Japanese Culture" during a meeting organized by Diplomacy Club on Thursday, November 26, at 2:30 p.m. at the FADA building in room FB-309
