Bilkent Takes Third in Soccer Showdown
|
Bilkent's soccer team recently placed third in the five-day Inter-Universities Second League District Football Tournament. Trakya and Hacettepe universities finished first and second. When you consider that those schools have Physical Education Departments, it is clear that our team was a success despite very tough competition.
Members of Bilkent's soccer team are: Edip Öncü, Erdem Yılmaztürk, Cem Şenoğlu, Ertuğ Ersoy, Hüseyin Soysal, Adnan İlalan, Basar Sahin, Kaan Basman, Ömer Kulaksız, Feridun Pakaydın, Fatih Urfoğlu, Namık Samen, Tolga Zengin, Serhan Kut, Kayhan Köksal, Sebahattin Bölük, Ugur Alper Engör, Cavit S. Ataoğul, Emre Sarkayal, Grey Kavunoglu, Kerem Tez, and Mustafa Şen. S. Kaya is the Head Coach and the Coach is Y. Kanat.
