The "New York on Air" program, launched to give Bilkent students a chance to take a class from New York via a live satelite connection has entered its sixth term. The program, known formally as the "Distance Learning Project" (DLP), took off in Spring 1996 under the coordination of Prof. Erol Arkun, Vice Rector for Student Affairs.
The New York offerings continue this semester with three undergraduate and one graduate course and they are:
ECON 322, Monetary Economics with Professor Brucc Mizrach of Rutgers University from 3:40 to 06:30 p.m. Tuesdays
ECON 406, Issues in Macroeconomics with Dr. Edward Steinberg of Federal Reserve Bank on New York from 1:45 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesdays and 1:45 to 2:30 Thursdays
MAN 429, Provization with Prof. Jonas Prager from 3:40 to 6:30 p.m. Thursdays
MAN 529, Topics in Investment Management with Dr. David Laster form 2:40 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays and 2:40 to 4:30 p.m. Fridays
