Help Needed for Visually Impaired

Would you like to share an hour or two each week to read research material for visually handicapped students?

If you are willing to help please contact Güzide Özen at ext. 1414 in the Reference Section of the Library. The reading can be done at any time you are available during library hours. Volunteer for that rewarding activity.



Writing, Reading Help Available

BilWRITE, the University's writing and reading center, offers tutorial assistance in areas such as writing, reading, study skills, and basic computer skills. If you want one-on-one assistance in these or related areas, call BilWRITE
at ext. 2652-54 or stop by Science Faculty Building Block A, Room B01, to make an appointment. We may also provide walk-in services if tutors are available.

If you are a faculty member and you would like to learn more about BilWRITE or you would like to have a BilWRITE tutor give a workshop in your class, please call, or e-mail us at bilwrite@bilkent.edu.tr.

BilWRITE also sponsors a weekly Conversation Club for those who want to practice speaking English in an informal environment. The Conversation Club begins meeting on Wednesday, September 22, between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. at the BilWRITE office.

We welcome anyone who is interested.
