The Confrèrie is a worldwide organization which only accepts members by invitation. It is a very old organization, begun around 1248 as a guild or union of cooks in France.
It consists of Hospitality Industry professionals and others interested in the promotion of fine dining.
The chapters organize monthly meetings and “The Young Chef of the Year” competition restricted to young chefs.
