Have you ever dreamed of singing or dancing in a Broadway musical? Well, this is your chance! Bilkent students are invited to audition for parts in a musical theater production to be staged by the Department of Performing Arts and the Goodfellas Orchestra this coming spring. The auditions will take place next month.
The performance, scheduled for May 20, will feature songs from American musicals. The cast will include students from the Department of Performing Arts and Department of Music students majoring in voice, but the auditions are open to undergraduate and graduate students from all faculties at the university.
The auditions for singers are on November 16 and 17 at 5:30 p.m.; auditions for dancers are on November 11 at 5:30 p.m.
The production will be directed by Asst. Prof. Jason Hale and conducted by Phil Reno, with Başak Zengin Kayabınar as music director and choreography by Laura Butler Rivera, Visiting Asst. Prof. Daniel Irizarry Osorio and Deniz Atlı.
