Bilkent University is seeking new volunteers for its Student Guides Team. This team of Bilkent students plays a major role in providing high school students and their parents with firsthand information regarding all aspects of student life at Bilkent.During this period of pandemic, student guides are organizing virtual tours and information sessions for prospective students, and holding online meetings with high schools.

In a typical academic year, student guides organize and conduct campus tours for high schoolers from all over Turkey and also travel to education fairs held in various parts of the country. Summer tours and information sessions are particularly important in helping prospective students make their decisions about university.

In carrying out these activities, student guides are expected to provide detailed information about academic, cultural and social life at Bilkent and candidly share with prospective students their own experiences as Bilkent students. In preparation for serving as guides, students go through a series of training activities organized by the Communications Office.
