Last month, Dr. Banu Sultanoğlu of the Faculty of Business Administration presented a paper at a conference held by the Public Oversight Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority. The conference, on the topic of “The Importance of Accounting and Auditing in Economic Development,” took place in İstanbul on September 27–28 and hosted approximately 1,100 participants, including the Authority’s president, government ministers, practitioners and academicians.
