The Department of Industrial Engineering invites researchers and practitioners to attend the first Barbaros Tansel Memorial Lecture Series, named in honor of the late Prof. Barbaros Tansel. A former member of the Department of Industrial Engineering, Prof. Tansel had an irrepressible enthusiasm for research, teaching and learning, and was a source of inspiration for students and colleagues alike.

1:45-3 p.m. Talk by Prof. Martine Labbé (Université Libre de Bruxelles) “Bilevel Programming and Price Optimization Problems”
3-3:30 p.m. Coffee Break
3:30-4:15 p.m. Talk by Prof. Murat Köksalan (Middle East Technical University) “Multiobjective Combinatorial Optimization: Some Approaches”
4:15-5 p.m. Talk by Prof. Ceyda Oğuz (Koç University) “Operational Problems in Container Terminals”
5:30-7:30 p.m. Reception (Location: Rektörlük Konutu No. 49)
