The March 6–19 issue of the weekly business magazine Ekonomist featured a cover story that listed the “Most Powerful Women CEOs” in Turkey. Among those included were Bilkent alumnae Sitare Sezgin (MAN/’97) and Elif Çapçı (MAN/’94).
To compile the list, the Ekonomist looked at the accomplishments of 100 female CEOs of companies that declare their turnover publicly. Ms. Sezgin, CEO of Teknosa, ranked seventh, and Ms. Çapçı, CEO of Beymen, ranked ninth.
