A team chess tournament was held the weekend of April 4-6 at Baþkent University. Students from a number of universities in Ankara competed as four-player teams.
Bilkent’s chess team came in second, just behind tournament winner METU. Hacettepe’s team placed third.
The Bilkent team consisted of Onur Uygur (CS), Mert Özateş (EE), Göksu E. Sezer (EE), Batuhan Sütbaş (EE), İsmail Alperen Öğüt (MATH) and Serdar Ay (MATH).
