On September 20, the second “Business Ecosystem” conference was held at the Bilkent Hotel. During the conference Bilkent Cyberpark, METU Teknokent and the defense company HAVELSAN signed a “Business Ecosystem Protocol” to foster cooperation between HAVELSAN and cybersecurity companies affiliated with the two technoparks. The protocol was signed by Prof. Abdullah Atalar, rector of Bilkent University, Prof. Mustafa Verşan Kök, rector of METU, and Ahmet Hamdi Atalay, general manager of HAVELSAN.
The primary purpose of the protocol is to find and encourage domestic cybersecurity companies with the potential to cooperate in developing national and local software solutions in this field.
