Bilkent Cyberpark’s Cyberpark Accelerator Program (CAP) has received a second place award in the “Inspiring Solutions” competition held by the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP).
The award ceremony took place on the first day of the 32nd IASP World Conference, which was held September 22-25 in Beijing and attracted 700 participants from 48 countries. Canan Çakmakcı, the general manager of Bilkent Cyberpark, accepted the award on behalf of the organization. “It is a great honor and privilege to see that our innovative projects have received great interest globally,” she declared in her acceptance speech. “Cyberpark will continue to be an inspiring technopark.”
IASP’s Inspiring Solutions program is a knowledge-sharing initiative that gives visibility to innovative ideas in science park and area of innovation management, and seeks to inspire other parks. This year the program attracted entries from 60 countries. Bilkent Cyberpark’s CAP was among the nine entries that were shortlisted by a panel of experts.
CAP is an innovative mentoring program tailored specifically for IT companies, in which each company receives one-on-one mentoring. The program also enables participants to attend two US accelerator camps, where they receive personalized assistance in business development and market penetration.
