Assoc. Prof. Sinan Gezici of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Asst. Prof. Ioannis N. Grigoriadis of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Asst. Prof. Bülend Ortaç of the Institute of Materials Science and Nanotechnology, Asst. Prof. Özgür Şahin of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics and Asst. Prof. Öznur Taştan of the Department of Computer Engineering have received 2014 Distinguished Young Scientist (BAGEP) awards.
The awards are given by the Science Academy Association (Bilim Akademisi Derneği) to recognize and support outstanding young scientists working in Turkey.
