Bilkent IEEE will be conducting its 9th Career Forum this week, on December 8 and 10. The purpose of the forum is to give Bilkent students a chance to familiarize themselves with companies where they might be interested in interning or applying for a job. Participants will get a chance to meet with professionals from Vestel, Havelsan and Özyürek A.Ş. The event will offer an excellent opportunity for students to take a step toward an internship and learn more about potential careers.
The first session of this year’s Career Forum will feature Vestel, a company that is recognized worldwide for its technological advancements. The speaker will be Tarkan Tekcan, general manager of customer services at Vestel.

On December 10, the forum will welcome Havelsan, a software and systems company that focuses on C4ISR, naval combat, air defense, management information, simulation and training, homeland security and energy management systems. The speakers will be M. Kadri Yetiş, engineering group director for R&D in command control and battle systems, and Yusuf Oğuz Selimoğlu, human resources associate at Havelsan.
