On Saturday, September 30, with the sponsorship of Bilkent IEEE and Intel, Bilkent hosted the “Intel Artificial Intelligence Workshop.” The event lasted for approximately five hours and attracted over 500 participants from different classes and departments.
At the workshop, discussion focused on the topics of machine learning and deep learning. Due to the large attendance, the workshop was held in three lecture halls simultaneously.
Participants also had the opportunity to enjoy a variety of food and beverages during the event, and received surprise gifts at the end. Bilkent students expressed satisfaction with what they had learned at the workshop; Bilkent IEEE is planning to hold additional workshops on popular topics in the near future.
