Ayser Doğramacı, beloved wife of our founder, Prof. İhsan Doğramacı, and mother of Prof. Ali Doğramacı, chairman of the Board of Trustees, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018. Funeral services were held on Monday, November 12, at Doğramacızade Ali Paşa Mosque following noon prayers, and burial took place on the premises.
Ayser Doğramacı was born in 1925; she and İhsan Doğramacı were married in 1942. They had three children, Şermin, Ali and Osman. Mrs. Doğramacı was a dedicated and supportive wife and mother, a delightful hostess who made every visitor to their house feel at home, and a lady in the truest sense of the word.
We wish to extend our condolences to her family and the Bilkent community. The memory of Mrs. Doğramacı’s grace, dignity and genuine warmth will be cherished by all who had the good fortune to know her.
