Fatih Atalı (EE/I) has just started orienteering and is taking PE205 Orienteering this semester. Expressing his enthusiasm to take part in Orienteering Federation events, he entered his first official competition in November in Burdur, where he ended up ranking 5th among 95 competitors.
Determined to do even better, Fatih put his name down for the second stage of the Federation official competitions, held on December 20-21 in Anamur. He earned a well-deserved medal, ranking 3rd among 116 competitors in his class.
Fatih will be one of the strongest members of the orienteering team to represent Bilkent in the university orienteering championship competition, to be held in April 2015.
