A team of Bilkent students has come in second in a contest for university students organized by Unilever Turkey.
The 12th Unilever IdeaTrophy Contest Final Camp took place from February 17 to 19 in İstanbul. Unilever IdeaTrophy gives university students the opportunity to learn how business works in real life while developing their skills and abilities.
Every year, a leading Unilever brand is selected as the focus of the contest. Brands selected for past challenges include Omo, Algida, Lipton, Dove, Knorr and Axe. This year’s brand was Magnum; contestants were tasked with creating a global marketing and communication campaign for Magnum’s 25th anniversary.
Magnumania, a team made up of Bilkent students Sıla Şener (IE/IV), Ayşegül Özge Arı (IE/IV) and Güliz Bilgütay (IE/IV), participated in the final camp and presented their project to a panel of Unilever Turkey board members. Ezgi Dilan Dibek (COMD/IV) supported the team by preparing visual materials and producing the project’s videos. Magnumania was selected as first runner-up by the panel.
