A team of Bilkent students has come in third in a competition for university students organized by Unilever Turkey.
The 13th Unilever IdeaTrophy Competition Final Camp took place December 15-17. Unilever IdeaTrophy gives university students the opportunity to learn how business works in real life and to develop their skills and abilities.
Every year, a leading Unilever brand is selected as the focus of the contest. Brands selected for past challenges include Magnum, Omo, Algida, Lipton, Dove, Knorr and Axe. This year’s brand was Rexona; contestants were tasked with creating a global marketing and communication campaign for Rexona.
BEEM, a team made up of Beliz Atalay (ECON/IV), Beril Burçak (IE/IV) and Emre Tuna (ECON/IV), was one of 300 teams to participate in the competition. During the final camp, the Bilkent students presented their project to a panel of Unilever Turkey board members, and were awarded third place.
