Voting for the annual Bilkent TV Awards (Bilkent Televizyon Ödülleri), organized by Sanatsal Etkinlikler Topluluğu (SET) and the Media Society, ended on December 26. Bilkent students’ choices for the best of television in 2014 have been announced and the awards presented to the winners.
To determine the award recipients, the two student clubs had conducted an online survey open to all students at Bilkent during the last weeks of 2014. The TV Awards are a market research project aimed at understanding Bilkenters’ preferences in television offerings.
The survey consisted of 13 categories. Following the voting, results were finalized. Members of the two clubs traveled all the way to İstanbul to present the awards to the winners students had chosen.
All were very happy to receive their awards and thanked Bilkent University for this unique experience.

Best drama actress: Bergüzar Korel
Best drama actor: Erdal Beşikçioğlu

Best anchorman: Fatih Portakal
Best quiz program: Kelime Oyunu
Best discussion program: 5n1k
Best culture program: Şeffaf Oda
Best sports program: %100 Futbol
Best late-night show: Beyaz Show
