On March 10, the Faculty of Law held a workshop on “Blockchain and Smart Contracts From a Private Law Perspective,” with speakers from Turkey, Germany, Switzerland, the UK and the US offering insight into the topic.The workshop focused on providing an understanding of the fundamentals of blockchain and smart contracts in the context of the digital revolution, with special focus on the problems that can arise in contract law, property law, consumer law and company law. The event attracted a large and attentive group of participants, from undergraduate and graduate students to attorneys and in-house lawyers working in various sectors.
