Throughout the time during which education must take place at a distance, the Bilkent University Career and Alumni Office is continuing to serve students and conduct online career activities.
Virtual face-to-face interviews and resume-checking meetings are being held via Zoom. Students may make an appointment at a convenient date and time by logging in to the Bilkent University Resume Database at https://stars.bilkent.edu.tr/kariyer/. All invitations will be sent to email addresses registered with the database.
Over the past three weeks, a number of seminars, company presentations and other activities have taken place online. On Tuesday, April 21, an online interview simulation by HSBC Bank was held for new graduates and third- and fourth-year students, while on the following day, the first online career seminar took place, with a presentation by Bilkent alumna and Meteksan Savunma Senior Human Resources Specialist Begüm Gül (ECON ’14) on the topic “Interview Techniques.”
From April 27 through May 8, an “Online Interview Adventure” with Mavi was conducted. On April 27, Doğuş Teknoloji held a sectoral discovery seminar on the topic “Importance of RPA Technology in Digital Transformation,” and on May 5, TEB offered a sectoral discovery seminar on “Careers in Banking and Future Economics.”
Other online events during the period included corporate presentations by Deloitte (April 28), TCMB (April 29, on the topic “Being a Central Banker”) and PwC (May 6, in conjunction with PwC Career Day).
