Prof. Engin Umut Akkaya of the Department of Chemistry has been named a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC). The RSC, headquartered in the UK, has more than 47,000 members worldwide. The designation “FRSC” is given to a group of elected Fellows who have made major contributions to chemistry. The names of the Fellows are published each year in The Times of London.
