Ahmet Çandıroğlu, a fourth-year student in the Department of Computer Engineering, came in first in the final round of the OBSS Codemaster competition, winning the top prize: a scholarship to attend Stanford Summer School.

The first round of the competition kicked off on December 11 at Bilkent and ran through March 14, hosted by a total of 18 universities in six cities during that period. The 90 highest-scoring competitors then went on to the final round, held on March 16 in the OBSS company headquarters.

OBSS (Open Business Software Solutions) holds the Codemaster contest annually to provide students an opportunity to demonstrate their algorithm and coding skills, and to encourage their interest in a software engineering career at the company.
