The European Journal of Law and Economics (EJLE), one of the most respected and frequently cited journals in its field, has devoted an entire special issue (Volume 42, Issue 1) to the International Law and Economics Conference held by the Bilkent University Faculty of Law, which took place in April 2014.

The special issue is composed of seven of the many papers presented at the conference—the first international scholarly conference in Turkey dedicated to the field of law and economics. Prof. Osman Berat Gürzumar, Prof. Hans-Bernd Schäfer, Halil Baha Karabudak and Asst. Prof. Hüseyin Can Aksoy of the Bilkent University Faculty of Law served as editors of the issue.

EJLE is an SSCI-indexed, refereed journal, which publishes analytical studies on the impact of legal interventions into economic processes by legislators, courts and regulatory agencies. Both lawyers and economists, scholars and specialized practitioners, are counted among its readers.
