Last weekend, the Innovative Internet Society held its second annual Entrepreneurship Summit. Many well-known entrepreneurs took part in the summit, their participation facilitated by Galata Business Angels.
The aim of the summit, which focused on internet entrepreneurship, was to bring young people into contact with successful entrepreneurs able to provide the benefit of their experience.
After welcoming remarks by Dean of Students Kamer Rodoplu, the first speaker on the program was Tümay Asena, founder and CEO of Nokta Medya, who talked about ethics and culture in the business and entrepreneurial setting. Other speakers who shared their experiences with the audience were Kaan Kayabalı, founder of Onedio.com; Hakan Baş, CEO of Lidyana.com and founder of Peak Games; Melih Ödemiş, CEO of Yemeksepeti.com; and football player Ömer Faruk Karaca.
