Asst. Prof. Fatih İnci of the Institute of Materials Science and Nanotechnology received one of this year’s Outstanding Young Scientist Awards from the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA).
TÜBA introduced the Program to Award Young Scientists (GEBİP) in 2001 to recognize and support outstanding young researchers working in the natural and social sciences, engineering and medicine.
Dr. İnci received the award for his contributions to biomedical engineering, biosensing, micro/nanoscale engineering and microfluidics: work that is of particular importance given its applicability in medical diagnostics.
