Günköy (The Sun Rises From the Village), a project of the TDP (Social Awareness Projects) student volunteer organization, is passing the hat for donations to the elementary school the group will visit on December 12-13. The school is located in Göyüncek’s Alan village, in Amasya.
Günköy has a stand in front of A Building where they are collecting donations from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Today (Tuesday, December 8), is the last day to stop by the stand and drop off a donation.
Items requested:
– Clothing and shoes for children in kindergarten and grades 1-8 (winter clothing and footwear is especially welcome)
– Stationery supplies
– Primary/secondary school reading and textbooks
– Personal hygiene supplies
– Toys
