Asst. Prof. Hüseyin Can Aksoy of the Faculty of Law has been named this year’s Outstanding Young Person in the field of “Politics, Law and Public Administration.” The award is from the Turkish branch of Junior Chamber International (JCI), an international non-profit organization with more than 200,000 members in over 120 countries.
Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) Turkey is part of JCI’s “Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World” program. The program serves to recognize individuals who excel in their chosen fields and exemplify the best attributes of the world’s young people through their dedicated service to their communities as well as the world at large. The award is presented annually, in 10 categories, to people from
different fields and disciplines who are under the age of 40.
Asst. Prof. Hüseyin Can Aksoy received this year’s award in recognition of his scholarly publications, which have international impact, as well as his innovative teaching philosophy as a professor of law.
