Designs by students in the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design are currently being exhibited online. The department’s annual “Distinguished Works” show opened Monday, March 22 with a Zoom event.
The exhibition features projects, drawings, sketches and models created during the fall 2020 semester by students at all levels of the IAED program. It also includes the projects that won 2020 IAED graduate Aleyna Ateş first- and second-place awards in the fourth-year student category of the 2020 Project Competition for Interior Architecture Students organized by the Chamber of Interior Architects of Turkey.“Distinguished Works” may be seen at https://drive.google.com/drive/u/3/folders/1HB6Btlo7YPGLM_TdVdxQMc1TWvErQUR9; the exhibition will remain on display through Tuesday, April 20. This is an excellent opportunity for parents, fellow students and other members of the Bilkent community to see how the capabilities of IAED students develop over the course of the program, and to view the variety of scale and focus that their works achieve.
