This year, International Women’s Day was celebrated on the football field at Bilkent, with a March 8 match organized by the Bilkent United Sports Lovers Society in collaboration with the Bilkent Wolves women’s football team.
The purpose of this special event was to demonstrate support for women’s representation, inclusion and social equality.
The match took place at the mini football field on Main Campus. Among those who came to show their support were Rector Abdullah Atalar and Vice Rector for Administrative and Financial Affairs Kürşat Aydoğan.
