Assoc. Prof. and Jean Monnet Chair Ioannis Grigoriadis of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration was chosen as a finalist in the British Council’s UK Alumni Awards competition for 2020 in Turkey. The awards, given in three categories, recognize the achievements of graduates of UK higher education institutions who are now working in countries around the world.

Dr. Grigoriadis, a graduate of the School of African and Oriental Studies – University of London, was named a finalist in the “Professional Achievement” category, which honors UK alumni “who have distinguished themselves through exemplary leadership and achievements in their professional industry, and who can demonstrate the impact and scale of their achievements in their profession, and beyond.”

The 2020 UK Alumni Awards finalists in Turkey were recognized at an awards ceremony held at the UK Consulate General in İstanbul on February 6.
