“Aşk Aptalı” is a translation of “Fool for Love” by American playwright and actor Sam Shepard. The play focuses on May and Eddie, who used to be lovers and have met again in a motel in the desert.

The production toured Turkey for two years and was selected to perform at the International Sabancı Theater Festival in Adana and Istanbul, Turkey, and at the Cyprus Theater Festival. The production garnered three Best Actress Awards from the Ankara Arts Council and the Baykal Saran Theater Awards’ “Best Theater Artist of the Year” prize.
