On December 5 and 6, a Consumer Law Conference organized by the Bilkent University Faculty of Law took place at the Bilkent Hotel and Conference Center.
The conference opened with introductory remarks by Prof. Erden Kuntalp, member of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Turgut Tan, dean of the Faculty of Law, and Prof. Abdullah Atalar, rector of Bilkent University. The keynote lecture was delivered by Prof. Haluk Burcuoğlu of İstanbul Aydın University.
The conference also featured six sessions, during which current developments in and contemporary problems of consumer law were comprehensively discussed by leading academicians in this field, including Prof. Lale Sirmen, Prof. Erden Kuntalp, Prof. Ergun Özsunay, Prof. Hakan Pekcanıtez, Prof. Atilla Altop, Prof. Erhan Temel, Prof. Şebnem Akipek Öcal and Prof. Zarife Şenocak.
