MEC Presents Automotive Days

Are you thinking of working in the automotive sector but have some questions? The student club MEC (Management and Economics Community) has the perfect event for you! “Automotive Days” will consist of three conferences presented by executives and managers in different areas of the sector. The conferences will take place on consecutive days, March 28, 29 and 30, at 12:40 p.m. in FFB-22.

Students who are taking GE250/251 will receive 10 points for each conference they attend. In addition, all students who attend at least two of the conferences will receive certificates of participation.

 

Tuesday, March 28 – Borusan Oto

The first conference will be presented by Abdullah Azmi Kelemcisoy, a graduate of the Middle East Technical University Department of Management. Mr. Kelemcisoy began working at Çukurova İthalat ve İhracat Türk A.Ş. in 1988; in 1997, he joined Borusan Oto as general manager.

Kaan Saltık, CEO and chairman of the board at Koluman Motorlu Araçlar A.Ş., will offer his insights and answer questions during the second session of Automotive Days.

The event’s final presentation will be given by Serkan Neziroğlu. A graduate of the Bilkent University Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, he joined Neziroğlu Otomotiv Grubu as a board member in 2003.
