UNAM NanoDay

This year’s NanoDay will take place on Thursday, May 12, in a hybrid format. The annual event, held by UNAM, features speakers prominent in various fields of nanotechnology, as well as poster presentations and the NanoArt competition.

The keynote speakers for this year’s NanoDay will be Prof. Oliver Hayden from the Technical University of Munich and Prof. Giulia Galla from the University of Chicago. The scientific talks will take place online via Zoom, at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.; they will also be broadcast in the UNAM Conference Hall for those attending the event in person.

The program will conclude with the announcement of awards for the best poster by an UNAM graduate student or postdoctoral researcher, and for the best nanoscale visual submitted to the NanoArt competition by an undergraduate or graduate student or postdoctoral researcher from any institution. Following this, an open house will be held in the UNAM facilities.

The event is also open to outside attendees. Those who wish to attend can register via this link: http://unam.bilkent.edu.tr/nanoday/
