Aysel Yalaç, a student in the Department of Psychology, is also a nurse. During these difficult days, she has put her education on hold to devote herself to caring for patients at Ankara City Hospital.
Reflecting on the situation, Aysel offered a message to her fellow Bilkent students, saying, “I would love to stay at home and attend online classes like you do. You might consider turning your stay at home into an opportunity in the difficult conditions you are in. It will be an important experience in this extraordinary situation to rediscover yourself, to reveal aspects of yourself that you didn’t know about. I recommend that you make the most of this experience. Stay healthy!”
