An exhibition of works by Maria Brzozowska, a student in Bilkent’s Master of Fine Arts in Media and Design program, will be opening at Galeri Sanatyapım in downtown Ankara on February 15 and will run until March 11.
Born in Poland in 1992, Maria graduated from Leeds College of Art in 2013 with a BA in visual communication. She is an illustrator of stories, creating images that are both surreal and appealing.
Her work has been exhibited at venues including the International Exhibition of Contemporary Illustrators (Cremona, Italy, 2013); the Ilkley Literature Festival (United Kingdom, 2013); and the Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery (United Kingdom, 2013).
