A new exhibition recently opened at the Library Art Gallery. Titled “Yerçekimini Takmayanlar” (Challenging Gravity), it features works by seven artists: Aynur Pehlivanlı, Banu Taylan, Çiğdem Bucak, Emel Yalın, Kadir Öztoprak, Murat Polat and Nur Ünlü.
The subject matter of the exhibition? Cats. The works on display offer the artists’ interpretations of these animals and their many personalities.
Given the popularity of all things feline on the Internet, this exhibition seems certain to draw many viewers. It will be open every day (except Sundays) from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. from now through May 11.
