On October 11 and 12, the Bilkent University Faculty of Law held its first Young Legal Researchers Symposium, with 24 young law scholars as speakers. The objective of the symposium was to establish a platform for young academics to share and discuss their opinions and studies with well-known scholars, all of them experts in their respective fields.
Each of the two days of the symposium featured four sessions focused on different areas of law. Although this was the first time the event has taken place, it attracted 80 attendees as well as significant attention from academia and both the private and public sectors. The symposium is expected to continue on an annual basis.
