Statement of Purpose Workshops

Are you going to apply to an MS or PhD program soon? Do you need to include a statement of purpose (SoP) with your application? This fall, the Career and Alumni Office and the Faculty Academic English program will be offering two workshops on writing an SoP.

The workshops will be held online, via Zoom, on November 17 and December 8 at 6 p.m. The sessions will focus on how to write a more effective statement of purpose, and also how to tailor it to different audiences. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and find out how to set up an appointment to get feedback on their SoPs from Faculty Academic English program instructors.
