Each year, the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management’s practice restaurant, Le Piment Rouge, offers guests from the Bilkent community and beyond the opportunity to enjoy a special dining experience during the noon hour, with a three-course menu based on a different theme or cuisine each week. Under the supervision of Chef Elif Denizci, who creates the menus, and Service Instructor Ali Ünal, who oversees the dining area, THM students carefully prepare and serve the dishes as part of their preparation for careers in the hospitality industry.
With the beginning of the new semester, the restaurant is once more opening its doors with delicious examples of British and Scandinavian cuisine. The price for the set menu, which typically offers two or more choices for each course, is 40 TL. Reservations may be made by calling ext. 5029. This week’s menu may be found on page 8.
