The 14th annual Genç Akademi (Youth Academy), a national student symposium organized by the Operational Research Club, will take place at Ankara’s MEB Şura Hall on December 22 and 23. Over those two days, representatives of leading companies and speakers from the fields of politics, business, the arts, sports and the media will meet with university students.
Last year’s academy was attended by over 1,300 students from 82 different departments and 73 universities across Turkey. Over 1,250 applications to attend have been received for this year’s event; the application period is now over, and ticket sales have started.
Speakers will include Cenk Akıncılar (assistant general manager of human resources, QNB Finansbank), Steven Young (president for Turkey and the Middle East, Bosch), Asuman Büyükyıldırım (vice president of finance and administration, Bosch) and Kına Demirel (director of marketing, communications and CRM, Migros) as well as motivational speaker, trainer, writer and actor Mehmet Auf.
